ACADEMY BASICS
The Performing Arts Academy will offer you exposure to the Arts through creative and challenging courses. This academy consists of four artistic areas: music (both vocal and instrumental), dance, theatre, and visual arts. Classes include instruction in performance, performing arts theory and history. You will also learn skills such as stage craft, sound systems and lighting to make the magic of theatre happen.

FEVER is part of the FESTIVAL OF NEW AMERICAN MUSICALS

South Gate Stage has been selected to appear in The Festival of New American Musicals. The Festival will feature prominent Los Angeles theatre companies throughout Southern California including the Old Globe Theatre (San Diego), South Coast Repertory Theatre (Orange County), Rubicon Theatre (Ventura), Sundance Theatre Program, UCLA Music Department, USC School of Theatre, the LA Master Chorale, The Stage at Santa Monica, The Ford Theatre, Rogers & Hammerstein Organization, etc.
