Photography is a course that offers a discourse on the history of photography and the basic workings of the camera, exposure, composition, and picture taking techniques.  The student also learns about the functions of photography, the characteristics of a good photographer, basic camera parts, photographic design, visual literacy, photograms, film development, contact printing, and basic projection printing.  The lab portion of the course helps the student to improve and refine their basic print making knowledge and abilities.
