CSU Admission Contact Information & Deadlines
If you made mistakes on your CSU application, earned a D or F in an A-G course in December, or changed your class schedule for the Spring semester, you must notify the university ASAP. Send an email to the email address listed below. Also, make sure universities have received your SAT and ACT test scores by the deadlines indicated below.

Senior checklist 2021-2022

August - November
- The University of California and the Cal State University systems will no longer require the SAT or ACT for admissions. They might use them for English and Math placement. If you still want to register, make sure you send your scores to one UC & one CSU when you register. The December 2021 test is the last one they will accept SAT https://www.collegeboard.org and ACT https://www.act.org
- August 1-November 30, 2021- Apply to University of California (UC's) at https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu. Submit your application from Nov. 1-30, 2021.
- August 2021- January 2022 Apply to private universities (Dates vary) https://www.commonapp.org
- September 2021-June 2022 -Apply to scholarships. Access a list on the college center's website.
- September 30,2021- Submit a copy of your UC application (up to the activity section) to Mrs. Corona for review!!
- October 1-November 30, 2021 - Apply to Cal State Universities at https://www.calstate.edu .
- October 1, 2021-March 2, 2022 Apply for financial aid at https://www.fafsa.gov (if you were born in the US or are a permanent resident) OR at https://dream.csac.ca.gov/ (if you are undocumented but have attended school in the US for 3 yrs and do not have a visa). You will need your parents' 2020 tax information, if they file. For maximum financial aid, submit it as soon as possible. Three days after you submit your financial aid application, create a webgrants account at https://mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov/ to check your Cal Grant award.
- October 1,2021-February 15, 2022 Private University Applicants must also complete the CSS profile https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/ for financial aid purposes.
- October 7th- Virtual FINANCIAL AID presentation check calendar.
- October 23, 2021- Last day to email Mrs. Corona a copy of your completed CSU application for review.
- November 30, 2021- Last day to submit your UC and CSU applications. Don't forget about EOP section for CSU's.
- November - May 2021- Apply to a community college www.cccapply.org as soon as the application opens.
December
- December 4, 2021- Email Mrs. Corona a copy of your completed common application for review.
- Create university portal accounts and check your "TO DO LIST" regularly. Don't miss deadlines.
- SAT & ACT are not required this year but if you want the university to consider scores, send them this month.
January - February
- January- Notify universities of any class schedule changes or low grades from Fall semester.
- January- Create university portals and check them regularly.
- January - May 2022- Apply to a community college www.cccapply.org as soon as the application opens.
March – April
- Receive notification of Admissions from universities.
- Check your Cal. Grant Award at www.webgrants4students.org.
- Review your financial aid award letters from universities. Make an appointment with Mrs. Corona.
- Visit universities that accepted you.
May
- May 1, 2022- Accept admissions to the university of your choice. Submit your Intent To Register (SIR) for Fall 2021 with a deposit ( if required).
- Sign up for Orientation.
- Complete the housing application.
- Accept or decline your financial aid award on your university portal account.
July
- July 1, 2022- Official final high school transcripts due to UC campuses.
- July 15, 2022- Official final high school transcripts due to CSU campuses.
REMEMBER: SENIOR GRADES STILL COUNT! Campuses could retract admissions if you receive any D’s or F’s during senior year.
