LAST CHANCE TO SUBMIT YOUR CSU Application To Mrs.Corona BY NOVEMBER 5TH AT 3:15

If you want Mrs. Corona to review your CSU application, you have to turn it in by November 1st, 2019! Mrs. Corona will stay until 5 pm, where you can pass by and finish your application. You do not need to complete the EOP part of the application! 

The Calstate Application is now open!

As of October 1st, the CalState Application is open for students to create an account and start working on! Remember, the deadline is November 30th.

Cal STATE PLACEMENT EXAM

 

ARE YOU COLLEGE READY FOR CAL STATES?

 

You DO NOT have to take the English Exam if you meet ONE of following criteria:

1.  Scored 500 or above on the SAT (OLD) critical reading section or 550 (NEW SAT)

 2.  Scored 22 or above on the ACT English test

 3.  Scored a 3 or above on the AP Language/Comp Exam

 4.  Exceeded standards ( READY) on the SBAC (Smarter Balance Test) 

5.  Met Standards (Conditionally ready) on the SBAC OR SCORED 510-540 ON SAT OR 19-21 ON ACT AND ALSO pass BOTH                  semester of AP English Literature OR ERWC  with a C or better.

 

You DO NOT have to take the Math Exam if you meet ONE of the following criteria:

1. Scored 550 or above on the SAT (OLD) Math section/SAT Subject Test in Math levels 1 or 2, or 570 (NEW SAT)

2. Scored a 23 or above on the ACT Math test

3. Scored a 3 or above in the AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, or AP Statistics exam

4. Exceeded standards (READY) on the SBAC (Smarter Balance Test)

5. Met Standards (Conditionally Ready) on the SBAC OR SCORED 510-560 ON SAT OR 20-22 on ACT AND ALSO pass BOTH semester of  Trigonometry, AP Statistics or AP Calculus with a C or better  your senior year. If you are not taking a Math class this year, you may still meet the requirement by taking the e-learning course

If you complete this course successfully, you will satisfy the CSU Entry Level Math (ELM) and will avoid taking costly remedial courses over the Summer. The cost is $45 but for low-income applicants, the fee may be waived.

You MUST TAKE THE CSU PLACEMENT EXAM  if you do not meet any of the criteria listed above.

Please note:

 1. You may take the exam at any Cal. State campus and it will be valid at all CSU's.

 3. Each exam is $20.00 and you must pay with a credit card or electronic check when you register.

4. The test will determine your college placement level in English and Math classes so it is important 

    to prepare for them.

If you made mistakes on your CSU application, earned a D or F in an A-G course in December, or changed your class schedule for the Spring semester, you must notify the university ASAP. Send an email to the email address listed below. Also, make sure universities have received your SAT and ACT test scores by the deadlines indicated below.
